In our opening statement, after the recent filing of the property owners’ petition for writ of certiorari, we review the case history of St Bernard Parish v. United States, the cases arising out of the flooding that followed Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.  We reference the liability opinion of the Court of Federal Claims, the opinion of the Federal Circuit, and the petition for writ of certiorari.  They can be found at these links:
